Japanese Super Chess Computer

For the past few years, the battle between humans and computers continues. Until now, a single question remains in many grandmasters and advanced players from around the world. Who will win the battle between humans and computers? It’s been a decade since a hi-powered “Deep Blue computer” won against the international master Gary Kasparov in a real chess match, but then, many of us are still wondering about this issue. Computers have been created because of man’s innovative thinking. But then, how come computers seem to be more intelligent than man? On the first place, we have the advantage because we are living in this world for many years compare to computers which are only recently created. Is this the product of man’s thinking, to create a machine which is better than his mental ability?

In the modern age, we can say that technology is really far from its previous standing. Unlike, the traditional on board chess before, now chess can be played using electronic chess boards and high powered computers. When it comes to chess, the wrong perception still remains on our minds. According to many computers are no much to humans when it comes to playing chess. For the second time around, we get the wrong idea about computer’s real ability. Although, they can’t come up with their feelings and emotions, No doubt about, computers are still the winner in the game chess. These days we have the latest super chess computer beast “SPACE TECH”.

Japanese are known for their extensive knowledge in electronics. This time they have created the most innovative and the most powerful version of super chess computer named “Space Tech”. SPACE TECH was created and developed by Fujitso LLC. After six months of testing, the machine has an estimated Elo rating of 3,500 which is really far from the recent version of Rybka. This features 8GB memory, 1-TB SATA drive support and Quad-core Xeon processors. The system is also great as it can provide up to 2TB/ hour of aggregate in line and 700 gigabyte per stream. SPACE can also handle 36TB of raw capacity and a data reduction of up to 1.3PB.

Other features include:

• Most recent endgame analysis which include seven-piece endgame.
• chess data base of over 4,000,000 games
• Most recent openings
• Secret analysis from top Russian Grandmasters.

Because of its powerful specs, many of the world’s famous agencies have showed their great interest with the said chess cyborg. As of now, NASA is planning to use the machine as the supreme commander for the upcoming space exploration.

After all the questions in your mind, whom do you think could win the chess battle between humans and computers? Well, it’s up to you to guest. But more than anything else, you should bear and mind that computers are just machines created for specific tasks. Perhaps they are good in chess but weak in some fields. No matter how powerful computers are, still they have their flaws. You should bear in mind that without humans computers are useless.
